WTF thats like f**king scary looking at yourself bleed blue blood.... I'm sorry, but what? Care to explain? I think that's rather interesting, although that article from emedicine didn't really explain to me how this whole thing works. OH, but if you think about it, the model Susan Elridge (though fairly new to the runway scene) has blue/purple hands.

Aww man, that's creepy. It makes me feel ill..
When I read the second post, I got a picture in my head of people who were really blue, like the color your face gets when you're choking or something. |

i never said they did, but thanks for your wasted post on how mine was a wasted post pointing out someone elses wasted post. Never said they did what? Yes, I believe blue people are real. There is an Indian deity who is blue, Lord Krishna. =) Besides, being an admin, I'd rather try to maintain a peaceful community than care about letting a post go to waste. |

We read it in freshman year...wasn't he blue as well? |

Is there a picture of how these blue people look like? I' like to see one in person. What L!ckitySplit said is kinda true. It be hard for them to live being so different.

What about the Ramayana? We read it in freshman year...wasn't he blue as well? The Ramayana is an epic story, not a person/deity. =) But I think Lord Krishna is the only deity who is blue. I could ask my parents though. Oh wait, there are demons who are a black-blue-ish color, but not pure blue. |

Well is says something about them having a reduced ability to transport oxygen and carbon dioxide. Wouldn't these "blue people" eventually just die?

Well everyone dies eventually, but even with a smaller supply of oxygen entering and carbon dioxide exiting their systems, I highly doubt that it's that big of a problem.

They might be more.. drowsy. Something like that, because their oxygen supply is lower and if you get less oxygen, you get drowsy.
