I know man! I miss that. I remember when my friends and I used to get together EVERY Friday to watch TGIF. It was a ritual.

TGIF was sweet. I used to watch it every week. I remember once my parents dragged me to the mall and I missed the first hour; I was so mad at them.

They don't even really have TGIF anymore…

I remember getting my first *cassette* player.
I remember finally beating Atari's Breakout.
I remember when a pack of cigarettes were $2.00
I remember when the first time Luke and Laura's Wedding was aired on General Hospital
I remember being grounded for listening to, "Like a Virgin."
I remember John Candy being alive and Chevy Chase *being* funny

I'd go on, but I'm depressed. laugh.gif

ME TOO! -hi fives- lol

my brother's peace of crap car doesn't have a cd player either so I have to use the adaptor thing that lets you hook up your own cd player.

^^ I have to do that in my car, too. It's got a CD player, but it's in the trunk. Weird Benz from '95.

So in any case, I just use my MP3 player and the adaptor.

I remember when I first moved to Oklahoma in 7th grade, gas was around 87 cents a gallon. It very quickly went up just over a dollar that summer, and it's been slowly increasing ever since, at least until the crisis that made it go up over two dollars and well.. it stayed there.

I used to watch TGIF when I still had Friday nights off (you know, back when I was too young to work). _smile.gif But yeah, you're right.. They don't really HAVE TGIF anymore.. And I never watch ABC anyway. mellow.gif

i remember when it was in the lower 80's though.

my old american history teacher remembers when it was 19 cents. shes fairly old though and even met martin luther king, jr. which doesn't make her old since it was that long ago, she's just not new.

Ah, I never really paid attention to gas prices when I was younger. I remember my first cassette player. And all those songs from the 90's. And those SEGA games. And Thunder Cats. And Swat Cats. Gosh, even I feel old now.

My old homeroom teacher knew Martin Luther King. Like, personally. She went to the girl's school across the street from him I think... -shrugs- It's been awhile. -coughsixthgradecough-
----
I used to think the original Power Rangers were so cool. And I wanted to be the pink one. -does a double-take- Was I really that girly?! o.o Oh. And I have my original CD player. The one that's in a few pieces because it fell (or I dropped it) so many times. Whoops... But yeah. That first mp3-playing one I had... Man, that thing was so awseome at the time. -sighs- And it cost nearly 90$. You can get one for, like, 10$ now. >.<" Even my newer one cost 70$.

Oh, TGIF! Those were the good ole days....

Since we're on television, I remember when Nickelodeon use to be good. Fifteen, Hey Dude, Are You Afraid of the Dark? I hate most of those BS shows that they have on now. I see what the kids have to watch now and pity them. Two words, Stick Stickly.

And I still own a cassette player. I remember getting my first one when I was ten or eleven. Guess what my twelve year old cousin got for his bday just two months ago? A damn ipod.

Well, my hair is starting to go gray. I'm only 20, as well. That made me feel real old.

That and realizing that my youngest cousin is going to be in the class of 2018.

Holy crap.
