Big Brother was a man
He held my infant fingers
Pushed me in the swing
And carried me in when I fell asleep

Big brother was a man
Pinched me by the cheeks
protected me from darkness
And held on to my tiny hands

Big brother grew old
He left the house
Took with him all fragments
Of his youth in my heart

Big brother flew away
Into the sky
Forsaken my heart
Now left unguarded

Big brother left his picture
When we both loved each other
Framed into my memories
A memior of what is now a fantasy

Big brother had a son
Married his wife and left us soon
I stood by the swing where we used to play
Pushing it slowly, whispering

"Big brother will come back someday
His promise lays still in my heart
When the sun shines golden in the world
A smile worth memories from before
An embrace once more remembered."

Big brother never knew
That I died one day
Brought with me the life of all to come
And the end of all to be seen

Big brother wrote a letter
Saying he loves and miss me more than ever
Big brother died of a fever
Where in misery he drowned
Forever and ever

This poem is very figurative in a way. It's (obviously) about my brother. Like it described we used to be very close until he became a teenanger. He barely comes home and always has a girlfriend hanging around. No he doesn't have a son but it's a "figurative" thing going on. The last stanza was basically a way to say he regretted what he had done. He lost himself during his years of drama and never became the way he ever was.
