How many?, <--layouts have you submited..but got rejected! Options

There is one rejection i remember....but not from who. I submitted a layout under the category "minimal" and they replied with "it's too plain"

"Minimal" layouts can be too plain, yes. I don't think it was me who rejected it, maybe it was before my time, but I have seen layouts that were too plain and simple--even for the "minimal" category.

My first, and only, layout I submitted was rejected. At first. [I was myspace staff] I know I could've just gone into the queue and accepted it myself, but..no, it seemed awkward to do that :x. I PMed the mod back, and it turns out it was a misunderstanding, apparently. It was accepted. Yay?

I know how you feel...but i think i grasp the consept that they don't want "DEFUALT" layouts so i think more of mine will be excepted!

About as many as I've gotten accepted. It's normal to be rejcted once in a while. Just keep going.

I've submitted one for myspace, which was very RUDELY rejected. I was tempted not to submit anything else, but I had an old LJ layout lying around, so I tried. The submit form wouldn't work right, and I posted about it almost 2 weeks ago. No one's answered yet.

Needless to say, I don't think I'll be wasting my time trying to share my work here anymore.

Meh, two of them. Actually I submitted one, and it got rejected, and I edited it a bit, and then it got accepted. I've only submitted 3 (4 if you count the two different versions...)

"misaligned, among other things."

That was it. No screenshot (which could have helped me fix the alignment), no explaination of the "other things," nothing.

And there are MUCH more polite ways to reject something. How about:

"Thanks for the submission, but it's a bit misaligned. Here's a screenshot. Maybe you can re-submit once that's fixed. Cheers :)"

I've submitted one, & it got rejected.. which I think is rediculous. I make impressive layouts, if I do say so myself. I mean yes, I will agree there are better ones out there & that all I do is create the background & place it into a myspace layout generator, but I sit & take the time to make my backgrounds & extended networks in photoshop, & it usually takes me a very long time!
