My first attempt at a div overlay... I've heard the layout is all messed up when viewed over 1024x768 - the text in the black column to the right doesn't match up or something ohmy.gif

Yeah... the image is about 50 pixels too far to the left. o_o

Besides that, it looks great. :D

yea
like i said in one of the other things
its not aligned at a lot of places.
the navigation box
is to far to the right
so its on the black
so some of the text you cant see there
friends and comments need to go over the left more
and then your calender and stuff needs to as well
it looks like you have to much information..
so it messed up everything

It works absolutely perfectly on 1024x768 resolution - on IE, Firefox and Safari... anything of larger resolution I know it doesn't all align, because I aligned it by percentages instead of by pixels... so, since I made it for my screen at 1024x768 and have it aligned absolute, left 50% and the graphics are made to exact sizes... anything larger than 1024x768 looks messed up... get what I mean? Since I can't see resolution above 1024x768 on my computer and this whole div thing is new to me I have no idea how to fix it for higher resolutions. blink.gif

If anyone would like to volunteer to take a look at my mess of code and suggest how to fix it I'd be more than happy to take suggestions!

o.O Looks awesome. I remember that little character from somewhere but I forgot where. Everything is aligned perfectly & organized. There is 1 thing I don't like about it, the text of the alignment. I usually perfer justify. Overall it's still great. ^^

Thanks for posting the screenshot of what my page looks like at a higher resolution! _smile.gif I hadn't seen what was happening on resolutions higher than mine, a friend just said it was doing something funky. Unfortunately, since my resolution doesn't go any higher than 1024, I don't know how to fix it - 'cuz if I tweak it, I can't see whether it's any better or not... I'm still no expert at this Myspace div thing, I'm learning totally by trial and error so when I can't tweak it and see the result firsthand, I'm lost!

If anyone can give me a bit of help on how to place the images in a permanent spot, regardless of resolution, I'd be grateful!

Looks good if I resize to 1024x768. The design/concept is nice, I wish I knew what to tell you as far as compatibility goes. sad.gif
