Am I on a self destructive path, My love life seems to be going crazy as of late! Options

Lets start at the beginning of this year....

January:There was no one that special. but I was flirting with this guy named Covie for a while....
February: There was this guy named John and I made out with him in the middle of the woods at a bonfire party in front of everyone.
March: There was Austin and I think I kind of fell in love with him I mean he was a great guy and we made out a lot and had a relationship but then he moved to north Carolina and then he came back for like two weeks and now he is away again on business for 8 years and so we decided to end our relationship b/c I didn't want to do the long distance thing but now there is a huge hole in my heart that as you will see I have been trying to fill with other guys.
April: there was Trey...a friend who I got really close to in an emotional time of need and then got far apart from and then got really close to again. lets just say we had our share of face to face time.
May: during the early part there was still some trey in my May....Then there was and still kind of is George a guy that I work with who I went over to his house on night and we made out and I didn't end up getting home til four in the morning...Then their was Colin...a guy I made out with in the middle of the woods...then more Trey and then more george.

Now my sister seems to think that my love life is a little all over the place as of late and i agree but I feel that I'm just trying to fill the void left by Austin with all these guys and as of late the only guys I've been having feelings for are Austin, Trey, and George. But Austin is gone so I have to push him out of my mind no matter how much I care for him and I love Trey as a friend but I'm just not sure the whole dating thing would work out for us and it might ruin our friendship and then I work with George who is going away for a month next week....and quite honestly I just don't know what to do anymore should i just move onto the next guy? Should I take a break from guys completely? or Should I fixate on just one guy? or should I just continue doing what I'm doing...

I want your opinions. Ask me questions to get more information if you need it but right now I just need any sort of opinions you can give me! and in advance thank you for all of your help that I hope you will give to me!

give yourself some time, if your not over that other guy than talk with people about it... :P and if you can't talk about it then don't date until you are... THink about it, if you not over this guy your just going to be breaking these peoples hearts by giving them feelings for you and not giving them anything in return... do you want that?

This doesn't mean that you hsould turn into a hermit until your feelings go away... it means you just be friends, get to know tons of guys, but don't make out or go nuts until your over that other dude ;)

Personally I don't believe that their is anything wrong with a long distance relationship it is just that Austin is currently working and living on a ship for most of the 8 years and 8 years is a long time to wait for someone from afar especially because I am only 17 and he is 19 and I wouldn't want to put those kind of restrictions on someone.

And yes I do like him a lot but in my own mind I need to let him go because i need someone close by to lean on and to help me. i am going into my sophmore year in College and I am trying to work my way to Pharmacy school. I don't need to be worrying about someone several states away but I need someone who I can drive and see when I am upset because I need to know that the person I am dating will be there for me whenever i need him no matter what time of day it is. And if he is living several thousand miles away I can't very easily go and see him whenever I want. AND THAT IS WHAT I WANT IN A BOYFRIEND...(To sum this all up it is because right now I need someone that I can physically touch everyday I need those daily hugs and kisses and just that daily feeling he can give me of being loved)

well if you really love him you can wait. but try and give yourself some space from guys for a while and meet new guys and jus talk you dont have to make out with eveyguy just to get your mind off the other dude. get a hobby to take your mind off of him.
