I always thought -_- was kind of a "*sigh* I'm fed up with your crap" kinda thing. And T.T was a "*cry* I'm so fed up with your crap" thing. Not exactly mad.

It's a tired face. Like when someone asks a stupid question, and you shake your head and go, "Oh my god.."

T_T is crying people. How the crap does that look mad?

and how does -_- look fed-up? It's sighing, or out=of=it, or tired, depending on the context. If you're mad you use >=O.

>.O =twitching

I was trying to think of a good way to say that.. That's pretty much it. :)

Also, T_T is a crying face.. There are tears. :P Trillian makes a smiley with waterfalls coming out of the eyes when you type that.

I thought T_T was an annoyed face all this time because the vertical lines look like the eyes and the horizontal ones look like eyebrows...it takes me a while to realize it's a crying face..

-.-* = annoyed
-.-U = I don't.... Know you.... (it's a sweatdrop with the tired-ish, therefore it's a kinda... It's hard to explain.)
By itself... It's a annoyed-shakey-head face. Like 'tsk, tsk, tsk' or something. I guess you could call that mad...

And... And... Y.Y = crying too. Or TT.TT for massive crying. Stream tears, y'know? Do they do that in American cartoons too?

Wait wait, how is that one a crying face? I don't see it..

I feel like one of those people who can't see the sailboat in those crazy puzzle-picture things..

Huh.

I can see the tears in Y_Y. The top part of Y [the v-looking thing] are the eyes..closed, and the other are the tears running down the face, right?

And I always thought T_T was an angry/annoyed face for the reason ×__Elle. said before.

Aww, hi Francesca happy.gif, I'm Julie.
Nice to meet you, too. [handshake].

Oh, and don't worry - I wasn't able to "see" any of these type of smilies for a while. I swear, I've tried looking for "guides" online.
Laugh out loud.

Really? I always thought T_T as an 'hmph' or stubborn face. Like, "Hmph, that's not fair! T_T".
& I always thought that T_T resembled stubborn.gif.

embarassed? hm. I've htought it was an out-of-it face, but I can see how the bottom - of = looks like a blushing... thing.

-^_^- I've always thought something like that was blushing though.

Bah. So many interpretations for one emoticon wacko.gif
