Cheating is awful. It is basically the worst thing to happen in a relationship. Even if you forgive the person and decide to stay together, it is always in the back of your mind. You trust them less and start to doubt their feelings for you. It just is the worst, especially if you are supposed to be in love.

I loathe the idea and the act of cheating on someone. If you can't be loyal, then don't be exclusive. Period.

Long story short.

That kills me, seriously. My last relationship ended a few weeks after he told me he had slept with another woman (a co-worker of all things) and had discovered that he was going to be a "daddy." He was so ridiculously emotionally selfish about the whole thing. I was actually willing to see him through it, but with all the "poor me" crap he was dishing, I couldn't deal. It was hard enough knowing that he went to work everyday and would see her. I just didn't (nor do I now) have patience for the type of pathetic weakness he so often showed. Seriously, I don't want that type of self centered behavior around my son or myself quite frankly. On a side note - I haven't been able to trust anyone since.

Regarding the cutting commentary - Chii was just saying that he shouldn't blame himself for a girl mutilating herself because of a break up. Don't begrudge her speaking her mind as I don't believe you would appreciate being cut off (no pun intended) from speaking your mind.

He just totally ignored me. I called him, but he refused to answer. After sending him several messages, then only i received a freaking short reply. So, i finally got the 'message'.. And so i decided not to contact him anymore. Few months later, he came up to me. Surprisingly, he apologized to me and said that we are not meant to be and some stuff.. so i told him that it doesn't matter anymore coz i dont need you to make my life complete. I can survive without you in the picture..

Well, i'm happy we broke up though..
And i'm happy with the one i'm with right now.

And to the rest, always bear in mind that break up is not necessarily a bad thing. At least u get to learn something from the previous relationship, get wiser and move on to search for the right one..

same here, except he never replied. also without the coming up a few months later and apologizing. he said "sorry" a couple weeks ago (it's been over a year since we broke up) but nothing about sorry for what or sorry i made you cry in class for two weeks and broke your heart and.. lol.
grrrr ok lol. im still bitter. it was.... very.. very traumatic. i'm still kinda scarred and paranoid sometimes.

but having my current boyfriend makes up for everything bad my ex ever did to me.

Well i truly did like him not yet love but he meant so much to me..we dated during the summer then he left a message on my house phone & told me he wants to go back out with his ex gf so we were over..then school started again. We dated again, this time is lasted awhile actually. i was surprised. Then we broke up. i was kinda feeling that he didnt wanna be with me. Then about a week or 2 later he hooked up with one of my close friends. I told her, he would do the same thing he did to me..find someone else. She didnt belive me, well he did, he dumped her after 2 weeks. Then got together with one of my bestfriends. Even though i was angry, i warned her also they lasted hmm maybe 5 months, she thought & i thought & everyone else thought they would stay together forever but like i said..he dumped her..Ha. i actually laughed at her. She would do things just to hurt me. Like make out with him right in front of me & laugh. Well now im laughing. & from what i herd he dumped her over texting & told her he found someone better. Well not as horrible as the ones i read above but my heart was crushed.

Ok.. here's what happened to me:
i had been going out with my boyfriend charlie for about 4 months
he was one of those 'omg he is so completely perfect' guys..
well yea.. thats wat i THOUGHT. soo yea one day he calls
& says its not working out & i was like "why?!" etc.. & then he admited he cheated
on me ... he madeout with a girl & had her strip for him.
ok well that was about 2 months ago when we broke up.. .
Yesterday.. i get a message from my frend maddy on myspace
saying that wat charlie said was all a lie & that she had sex with
him while we were still going out.. & i was shocked! argh. that jerk.
so yea that is my terrible story.

Oh man, I have LOTS...

One was this guy who's ex girlfriend found out we were dating & she convinced him EVERYDAY to break up with me, she even forced him to call me & break up with me on HER cell phone. Good thing I had my phone off & he told me to erase the message & to not listen to it [ I did anyway, duh ] but eventually she won because he called & broke up with me then had the nerve to start a sentence with "well now that me and Nikki are TOGETHER" wait wait, so you didnt even break up with me before getting back with her?!

Then this other guy totally forgot it was my birthday even though they announced it on the loud speaker at school & broke up with me. On my birthday. This was four years ago, he still kisses my ass & says sorry haha!

But THE WORST OF THEM ALL was my recent ex who I was dating for six months. He was psychotic & controlling. And everytime we fought he'd write bad stuff about me in his AIM profile, his LJ, everywhere. And over the summer, he "attempted" suicide because I wouldnt get my teacher to sign him for his 100 hours [ to graduate, its required you do community service at some schools for a certain amout of hours ] that he DIDNT do. So he was "rushed to the hospital" but he was online AT the hospital saying he had a 38% chance of living. Yeah, right. But you're on AIM. I knew this was a lie the whole time cause when he was online, I'd call his house -- busy. Plus his AIM profile was still up. Mmmhmm. I'm not stupid!

Anyway, I was also getting closer to one of my friends [ but he didnt really know this ] & I couldnt stand coming home from school being miserable because I knew he was gonna call & guilt me & blah blah blah. So one day, I eventually was like "you know, I dont love you anymore. You're psychotic, leave me alone".

I knew exactly what he was gonna do. He called every phone in my house -- even my PARENTS cell phones [ he did this EVERY TiME we fought for SiX MONTHS ] to yell at me. So I turned off everyone's phone. Then he posted MY phone number on his AIM profile saying stuff like "if you want your d**k sucked call this number". For about a whole week he kept calling my house & telling all my friends that if I dont talk to him this & that. Saying he was gonna call the cops on me, on something my brother said to him online & told his friends that he was gonna bomb my house. Not to mention he sent all these emails to me & left SO many comments on my LJ. Telling me it was a disgrace being with me, that his life would have been so much better with me in it, that I dont even deserve love from my PARENTS then turn around & say sorry & that he didnt say that & he would never say things like that. Pffft. Whatever.

It was crazy. I'm glad its over though. And this was two years ago. I still have a hard time trusting people, in general. But my boyfriend [ the guy I was getting closer to, yeah we ended up together & are STiLL together ] went through the same exact thing right after I did. It was crazy, so we're like both paranoid lol.

I don't regret breaking up, but I do regret that I wasted a year and half thinking that he loved me.
Since we went to the same school, I saw him a lot. When I saw one day that he paid attention to another girl like the way he use to pay attention to me when he would just say he loves me, etc, well it got me thinking that he never loved me, he only was infatuated with me like he is with this new girl. That just teared open the same wound again. I'm glad that he's no longer in the school cause he graduating in like a week, so I won't have to sit there and see him make googly eyes at someone else like he mocking me anymore. Hopefully I will stop thinking about him. I know I will still care about him, but I don't want that to hold me back. Cause he has held me back long enough.

Worst break up?

Hmm. Probably the second time I broke up with my boyfriend. I was emotionally insecure, and I had just met someone else, and I was just sick of the distance to the point where I couldn't take it anymore, so I told him that we should break up.

He took it so bad that he went out with his friends, got drunk, got back home and drank more, called me and he said numerious horrible things to me, such as "you better hope I don't die, because you'd be a murderer".. then apparently passed out and had to be taken to the hospital.. Needless to say I've never felt worse in my life; I kept on thinking what a horrible person I was for doing that to him, etc etc, and now his parents dispise me..

I doubt he's told them we're back together. But we're past all of this.. It's been a year since.
