I posted a topic about this, and I got an answer which was, wrong. Notice in the above picture, that is the bulliten area, his name still remains red even though I'm not on his page. I need the code for that, please.

Please note that this doesn't help you that much because the codes above are all colours.....and I haven't added the colours to the coded text so unless you know some hex codes you can figure out how you want to add colour to your myspace name...

Actually, there was a problem.

if you added < and >, in the display name, you would see that whole code. So you would just do the < and >

At least I think so..

I decided to merge the topics because the second one (although it was spam) had a better example.

janitor cameron from now on please be more patient, and if someone doesn't understand your topic dont start a new one, just explain your question better in the first topic.

But don't put < and > , it will only show the whole code. Instead put this:

<font color=9900CC>


And if that doesn't work, try this:

<font color=9900CC>SHORT DISPLAY NAME HERE</font>

^I think it would go before the actual display name..it identifies what needs to be that color.

I type it in like this; <font color=9900CC>cameron, when I hit save changes it goes back to cameron

I also tried it <font color=9900CC>cameron</font>

Has anyone else tried this, and did it work for you?

i put it in like this:

&lt;font color=9900CC&gt;


and it worked for me. just put it like that right before your display name, it turned my display name on my main page purple and same with the message from tom
