um..other than that, the colors {for me} takes a bit of getting used to.

but it's a good design and good concept.

I like the cartoony-esque theme of your layout.
The blue and red is a little clashing, but if people stay long enough to view your site, it gets easier. I like it though, good job.

Well actually, it's more your loss because you lose viewers if your layout doesn't work in all resolutions.

I'm viewing from 1152x864 so I don't see a horizontal scrollbar. But not a large amount of people use anything higher than 1024x768. If I resize to 1024x768 (which is what a HUGE majority uses), the layout would easily fit inside that resolution, it's just shifted over so it scrolls (easily fixed). That still doesn't help the poor 800x600 users, but at least you get a large portion of your audience back by fixing it for 1024x768.

Ahh, not to be rude or anything, really. It's just that as a webdesigner, if you're making it to suit your own needs without regards to your audience, you're really not doing yourself any favors.

If I don't enjoy the way it looks, then why even have a website?
It's a PERSONAL website, which means for ME.
I wouldn't mind it if I didn't get any hits.
I enjoy making icons & etc, I do it for MYSELF.
Not for other people.


I post topics like these on forums because I'm curious at what other people think, not for hits and definately not to change things.

Well, see, that changes everything. Because I was being constructive (along with everyone else), that's what we're used to doing in the showcase forums. If you didn't want constructive criticism, you should've let us know. =\
