Ok I just got Xanga and at first I used a template then put a layout code in the header and I saved the changes and that but when I go to http://www.xanga.com/k8erz its the old layout..But when I go to http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=k8erz
It shows the right layout...Im confused lol...I prob sound like such a xanga newb...oh well please help!.Thanks! |

Are you using Xanga Premium trial? The premium skins?
If yes, in your private home, they show up as your default layout, and only as the premium skin in public preview (what other users see). |

Hm im confused...now that I go to http://www.xanga.com/k8erz it shows the layout I had put the code in for...I dont understand it didnt before...

Oh probably it just showed up as a saved page previously, and now it's showing up as the newest updated page.

When putting on a new layout, especially if you visit your page frequently and have had the previous layout for a long period of time, always refresh if it doesn't look right.
Sometimes either your computer is being slow or it's reading the wrong information. Refreshing usually fixes it. |
