Damn I love eating those things, but are you only talking about citysuper? Over there, French fois gras are not imported anymore but they are starting to import Hungarian ones, so I guess I can still eat it. Haha you're cool. I don't think the point is whether or not killing plants are cruel or not, really. I guess people use the theory of evolution, Survival of the Fittest, to say we have the stronger genes, we will survive over the animals and such. It's like, now that you have things easily, you're caring about the emotions of the animal. Like you're giving yourself new problems (after worrying about eating, you worry about their emotions). I don't have a point of view for animal cruelty though. I've seen some videos of how they treat animals before and after the process of slaughter and it's pretty horrid D: |

Define what cruelty is first. i think it's natural to slaughter one another since we're part of the "living things". Plants do kill others, do you know that? The world is like the survival of the fittest. Since we're dominant and "mature" enough to determine our future and how we want to shape other creatures. Like ... preserving endanger animals, save animal's life so they can reproduce ... then we eat 'em. The whole idea of animal/ plant cruelty is base on people's emotions and heart that leads to societies issues. |
