My neice is HIV. She's 18. Of course she new all about it before she was infected. I do think sex ed is important. If it does scare someone into a condom then it has done it's job. The class has at least saved one life.
On the pregnancy issue, HIV people can have children. I am not sure, but I think my neice told me that she could take a pill during her pregnancy to protect the baby. I don't know if it is 100% or not. Yes, sex ed in school. When I was younger, I had the don''t do drugs class and I have to admit that it did keep me from experimenting with pills and all those elicite drugs. Put the fear in me! |
