I feel as though it were a justified suicide. As long as your not escaping any responsabilities, i feel it's alright to do it.

especially if you're elderly. Herman Hesse shot himself at like, 60 something because in his old age he was unable to do any of the things in life he enjoyed. That's a justified suicide. I sure as hell wouldn't want to sit and rot away for the rest of my life, only wishing i could do the things i wanted.

And also:

I wonder if that guy believed in heaven and such. Maybe he wasn't exactly Christian (because suicide is a sin, right?) but maybe he was some sort of faith that he thought if he shot himself he would go to heaven and be with his family.

one more reason religion is bad for your health.

maybe he really missed his wife like he cant live without her and since his granddaughters are old enough to get a job blah blah... i guess he wanted to die so fast...

or other reasons could be that he feels like a loner cause everyones is not supporting him.

i remember hearing few stories from suicidal...this korean grandma suicide cause her son wasnt supporting her and leaving her in the nursing home. she escape from that cause she was upset of staying there, she left a note about how she felt living in the nursing home. saying it feel like she was dead already but in uncomfortable position..

so it can be a lot of reasons why he suicide. yeah it's a sin. but it's not like he should go to hell.. -0-;;; i dont know what God wants to do about it bleh...
