Definition

Some people get confused or don't really know the complete definition for "Anime" or "Otaku" is. So here are the definitions to help you out!

Anime: a style of animation originating in Japan. It is sometimes referred to by the portmanteau Japanimation. Anime is characterized by stark, colorful graphics and stylized, colorful images depicting vibrant characters in a variety of different settings and story-lines, aimed at a wide range of audiences. Anime may be broadcast on television, distributed on media such as DVDs or published as console and computer games. Anime is usually influenced by Japanese comics known as manga.


Otaku: a variety of geek (or an overly obsessed fanboy / fangirl) specializing in anime and manga.

As for OSTs, I love the pretty whimsical songs. I mean, yes, Jpop is nice, but the ballads KILL me...make me cry, as a matter of fact. I heart them.

And OVA's (Reffering to anime episodes) are Original Version Anime... <--- makes no sense but don't ask me why its like this... I'm not Kami-Sama I don't know everything... -__-;;
