[font=Trebuchet Ms] So today was my first day of work, as of another season of it. And yesterday I had surgery on my back, and I didn't have many restrictions, besides lifting.

And I have an outdoor job so I never know what I'm up to, or going to do. Well one of the guys I work with decided to help me out a bit, and after someone got done talking with my mother she came over to me and was like "hun your not suspto be lifting, you had surgery yesterday" and he was standing right there. So from then on he wouldent let me lift, or do my job. And I felt capable of doing it, and didn't want to make a big scene. But I like the kid so was glad to have his company, but he just kept getting angry that I wouldent let him pick up the heavy stuff himself. It's nothing but he just kept calling me stubborn, is that a bad thing? Am I going to be on his bad side now because I don't want to be. Or could it possibly just be a joke seeing were really close friends, and he has some idea i like him. It could be him just being nice, but he would get angry when i would do it myself.

so your being stubborn cuz you had back surgery and arent supposed to lift things and he wont let you lift things? thats not a bad stubborn and in my opinion theres no way that would put you on his bad side... more on his good.. cuz your not the type of person that makes everyone do waht they want with no consideration....which is the total opposite of you

tell him you're capable of helping him
he's just looking out for you since you just had a back surgery, but you shouldn't be lifting anything at the moment jsut in case
