ugh.. fonts :[ Options

kay. so i have this layout & i want to change sizes of certian parts. so i do the <font size=43278> fdjskaljf </font>, but because of something in the laout the size doesn't change. it stays the same size as everything else on the page. i've tried changing things that have worked before, but they're not working.

that's not really what i wanted to do. if you look at my myspace, at the top it says 'what makes your heart be faster? tell me; what does yur body long after?' i want that to be bigger than the rest of the font on the page, but it doesn't work for some reason.
