Like last year to two years ago, I would really misuse and probably say it for everything. Some kids at my school still use it and one time I mentioned to them that gay had an alternate meaning, happy. They just stared at me and still continue to misuse it.

Nobody's opinions will change unless you state very good reasons why they should stop saying things are gay. I could list 250 people who use the statement "that's so gay" in place of "that's so stupid". It doesn't matter. It's not referring to "homosexual" people. End of story.
