^ I like the idea of during the summer better. It has a more interesting twist to it. You can make all this stuff happen and then add how it effects them while they're in school

who should be abused at the beginning?
sure ok so it'd be something like this
daddy just got back from the bar again, i could tell he had a tough day at work, so i hid. oh i was so scared. why didn't he love me? why does he hate me so much?? oh no i hear he calling my name
dad: get over here!
one of the daughters: oh daddy please
dad: i said get your ass over here!
one of the daughters: (tries to run away)
dad: grabs her and starts beating her
mom: (walks in) (tries to calm dad down)
dad: get off me! (punches mother)
one of the daughters: mommmmyyyyy cry.gif
DAD: SHUT UP.
one of the daughters: (runs away to dillon's house hoping he can help )
by the time she got back her mom was lying on the floor with blood all over and her dad's car was gone
