i need some help, hanging out with a guy. Options

okay, here's the situtation. i've been talking to this dude for a while now & tomorrow we might hangout for the first time, but thing is, he's 19 & i'm 14. i just need some ideas on how i'm going to go about hanging out with him. should i lie to my parents, just lie about his age or what? oh & plus, my mom's home for the weekend & she doesn't like me hanging out with guys. so any suggestions?

I think this belongs in relationships. But anyway, I'm not sure but if I were you I would feel guilty if I lied to my parents. Since your mom dislikes you hanging out with guys I doubt that she'll let you if you fake his age. I don't want you to do something that will make you feel guilty. So...I'm not sure. If it comes down where you must lie, then tell her that you're going to hang out with a group of friends and he happens to be hanging out with you. It might be easier if you invited more people...but if you don't want to don't. It would be alot safer to. There's a big age difference and you don't know what might happen.

geez, 14 and 19 hanging out? i dont have a problem with older guys being in relationship with a younger girls but you should just watch out.
your mom's probably not going to let you hang out with him..cuz, in the first place hes a guy, and also because hes way older. if you want to you would probably have to lie...good luck with it

im 14 too and i liked a 19 yr old guy too. but i gave it up knowing hes too old for me. how well do you know him? he could just take advantage of you. hes way more mature than you. if you do go out with him...make sure you have a cell with you so you can call if you need help or something?

i dont know how strong you want this relationship to be....but tread carefully. you never know....

The guy I'm seeing currently and I met when I was 15 and he was 19. We saw each other for awhile then it just fizzled out. But now, it's on again and we're much more serious than we were then.

If you met him from the internet and I don't think you should meet him. If he's a friend of a friend or whatever with some kind of connection like that then go ahead and meet him. Just be careful, he may just try to use you for sex. I was a precocious 15 year old so we got along fine then, we get along better now though.

You don't have to lie to your mom, just tell her you're going to hang out with a friend. You're 14, you're going to have to have hang around boys someday. It's better to start now and see what it's like than be completely unprepared later on in life.

wait, you met this guy online? and he's 5 years older than you? i don't think that the best thing to do is meet up with this kid...especially since you don't know him. people online can be creeps and you never really know who you're actually talking to.
