tornado just passed by me. i heard the freight train sound. faintly.

i don't think it's a really powerful tornado.

yea.

possibility for more, apparently.

supposedly it passed pretty close to where i am.

hail too, but only nickel sized. some people have softball sized hail, apparently.

doesn't seem like it did any damage.

more to come supposedly.

i love storms. but i hate tornados.

ehh.

I have never experienced one before. It's good to hear that it is not causing damage to your area.

It is rare to have tornados in my area, Los Angeles, and we just went through this winterstorm several days ago.

I remember there being a hurricane or something that was in New York a few years ago. At the time, I didn't really know what it was, I just woke up one morning and some plants were in disarray.

We had a tornado a couple weeks ago. It hit pretty hard around 20 mins south of us, though. It wasn't that bad for us.

Wow. at least it wasn't so strong, no?

i've been through a small one, and apparantly, radios said it was building up. it was while my family was driving through arkansas. pretty cool from far away distance.

Wow. I've never experienced a tornado. Neither in New York City nor in Toronto. From what I've seen of tornadoes, they're pretty scary.

I'm in Texas, and there's been tornadoes and hurricanes and all that jazz before. They're not that bad, depending on its level of damage and power.

I take showers during lightning storms all of the time. I just hurry up.

But anyway, we don't really have much storms here. Lots of rain in winter, a little hail every now and then along with a storm or two, but that's really it. But yeah, in California we get a lot of earthquakes, but we can't predict those pinch.gif

Mehhh.

I've seen tons of tornado damage. Living in torando alley kind of makes you immune to all the warnings. It's pretty scary when you're right in the path, though. Luckly, I've never been hit by one.

I love it when it storms.

^Same. I live in Oklahoma, and my elementary school was destroyed by a tornado when I was younger. My home has never been hit, but I've seen plenty of damage. People new to the area always freak out and unplug everything and run for cover when there's a tornado watch/warning, but to me it's just an annoyance when you're trying to watch television. :P

"Breaking weather" on the news means nothing to me. Until I hear the freight train or start seeing large hail, I'm not worried in the least.
