i live in florida so a tan is a must-- the beach is just yards away! i lay out on tha beach or by the pool and use that new jergens natural glow lotion.
do you tan? use the tanning bed? spray-on booth? from a bottle? lay out?

Of course, in New York City, everything is trendy. I'm not into the whole tanning thing, I don't want to be dark and/or ruin my skin.

Yeah. Tan is pretty trendy in Southern California. It's funny that i'm one of these people who are very white and pale. xDDD

We just get tanned here in Australia........ sunny every freakin day........... when its autumn, its still 25 or more degrees celcius......

but today was freezing..... so I guess the proper weather's finally starting to kick in!

its natural here in australia, majority of ppl here don't need to go for a fake one.

i really dont like it when people have really fake tans and they look orange. and i also dont like it when really blond girls have tans, if your skin is darker than your skin then somethings wrong. i think the only people who look good with tans are people who are naturally dark.

I actually really like my really really light skin. It's one of my best characteristics, and I wouldn't ruin it with an ugly orange tan. Ever.

Yeah, it's pretty trendy. Tans are way, way overrated. They can have their skin cancer, I don't want it.

I don't tan... my skin is already a light brown. If I had paler skin I might; I don't know.

I'm from Borneo, we have a variety of tan degrees and weird enough people here want to look as pale as possible. I'm well tan I guess but I think I'm dark but some people say I'm the fairest ;) hahahah~ It's usually common to be labelled (East Malaysians) "fair" by the West Malaysians. It's just a general view of course there are fair people in West Malaysians. What's even better since more foreigners are pouring in each day, the variety of skin colour is just amazing. You guys should really come here (East or West Malaysia) :)

Well of course if you go to the Eastern part of Malaysia you get to booze with me (freely).

Just how you make "fake tans" anyway?...

i know so many girl who cook themselves all the time is sad. I live in texas so its hot enough, but peple voluntarily put themselves in a microwave. And i think it looks rediculous when white girls walk around darker than me. And yeah sure im not that dark, but there are some who look like black people. I'm like come on. U got blue eyes..you look like an alien. And theyre EVERYWHERE

I'm half italian so I have a year round tan too =]
I live in Illinois and a tan is very important. For those that don't have a year round tan here, they go to tanning salons. I admit I have been to one before, just once. Although my friends go on a weekly basis.

In Hong Kong, light and radiant skin is much more treasured than tanned skin for girls. So, I don't think it's trendy here.

At my school it is. Idk what it is, but the older you get (late teens, early-mid 20's) the more urgent need these women feel to have a tan.

I'm from a tropical island. I'm supposed to be naturally tan like my father and brother, but I'm actually very fair, like my mother. Eh. In some ways I wish I was darker, but I guess that this just means I'm more "unique". Hehe.

I think it's more "demanded" in high school to fit in more ya know?
I don't go tanning but I get darker from hours outside thanks to track.
I don't tan well though, my skin get pink/red not tan & it's not burnt either.

In MA tans aren't really a big issue. Unless you're completely white. I'm actually naturally tan, so it doesn't concern me :)
