Hmm.. I dont know. I've never really had probelms w/ callouses. Maybe some type of foot cream? I've seen stuff for callouses and stuff at pharmacies.

Use creamy lotion mulitple times during the day and wear socks all of the time - white usually works the best for some reason..

I have problems with both since I'm in taekwondo...

mine are terribly bad but i do have them. im running around in track all the time so the friction has caused it. probably really good foot lotion could be used. otherwise, you could go to the foot doctor and theyll "scrape" it off for you. but you have to keep going back because it grows back.

I guess you've been doing a lot more running or something this week?
Sometimes heels do that to me.
They do go away in time, but i'm sure there is a ointment to speed up the process.

Thats what I think too. I'm surprised I don't have more from dance...they've been getting worse though.

i'm pretty sure my callouses come from my heels, since they grow at the tip of my toes

I have callouses on the outside of my big toes and a BIT on my heels, but the spa fixes that.

I can feel my feet when I touch my calluses. They're pretty soft right now. I don't think they ever get really hard, but I get the occasional layer of dead skin which I have to peel off.

Is it true that having a boyfriend who will rub your feet is a good thing?

The only really hard callouses I have are on the sides of my big toes. Probably from my soccer shoes. stubborn.gif

They're hard, rough areas on your feet and hands... I guess you could describe them that way. Like... when begineer guitarists start playing if they dont use a pick they get callouses on they're fingers. They're not horrible but when they first start forming, they hurt

Are you scraping your feet with pumice in a relatively cool water?
I would suggest warm/hot water because it really works for me, but I am too lazy to do it anymore.

Lotion is a good idea too, apply it right after the pumice washing thing.

They're not rough or anything of the sort; neither are they soft like a newborn baby's, so I'd say somewhere in-between. happy.gif

Mine have to stay that way for ballet, but it's not too bad. only on my heels and the ball of my foot. Slightly on my toes.
