i was having some mental debate so ive decided to pose this question. What do you need to say asian pride? is the only "requirement" to be asian? can someone that doesnt know how to speak their ethnic language be "allowed" to say asian pride? or someone that doesnt associate with other asians? or someone that considers asian music as junk and not worth listening to?
do you need anything to say "asian pride"? or what minimum personal traits should you have that allows you to say asian pride without sounding stupid/hypocritical to other asian? |

You can have pride for your race no matter what languages or know or what traits you exude.

Well, I'm not entirely sure what you need but I know that if you were to say "ASIAN PRIDE!" and not speak the language or completely be oblivious to the culture or something along those lines, you would get ridiculed for saying so. So I guess those could be "requirements" however I think that's stupid that you need to meet certain requirements in order to have pride.

There's nothing inherently arrogant about being proud of one's culture or heritage. Being proud of one's race does not necessarily mean one thinks he is better than others simply because of that race. |

I don't know if there's anything wrong with saying Asian Pride, then again it's just one word off from Asian Supremacy, which became the end for a couple hood heads who advocated it with another word....

^A lot of kids are saying it in school.
 My friend says asian pride a lot. Though she's 30% Asian. I think she's allowed to be proud to be at least asian, though some people think she shouldn't because she's 70% white. |
