I submitted a layout the other day, which was approved (by Libertie) and posted.

But today, I got a pm,(from micron) saying that the layout I submitted was NOT approved, and subsequently, it dissapeared from the list of layouts...

The layout was "Dio mi ha dato te" that was favorited by 1 person, and viewed over 1,100 times... do any of you remember seeing it and know what I'm talking about? (I changed the title to 'Dio mi ha dato te [FFF] to coincide with the rules of posting firefox friendly in the title)

Why'd it get taken down after being hosted here for 2-3 days? cry.gif

same thing happened to me once. just because it meets the requirements of one mod, those higher up can have a say so and take it down. i could also have been removed for space.

Yeah.. It was a really pretty layout, but it doesn't work in the preview. I had to put it into my xanga and everything so I could view it properly, and when it looked the way it was intended, it looked nice. So well, I don't know. I liked it. Although now that I'm looking at it in IE the text looks sort of transparent.. Maybe that's why.

I'm assuming Jusun (the person who rejected the layout) either doesn't want a layout that doesn't work in the preview, he didn't see it when it was working properly, or he did see it and didn't like it. Either way, all layouts are subject to review by any other moderator and can be removed. Sorry for the confusion. =\

well, I could name some other layouts here that also don't work in the preview, because the previews here are automatically centered... _dry.gif maybe the staff here should consider having everything left aligned so that the layouts (alot use margins!) will be able to be viewed properly...

as for the text looking transparent, that always happens in IE with that font and a few others... huh.gif

It doesn't work in Mozilla. Oh, and I know why... It's the video. It makes the page laggy. The reason why the preview is centered is because most pages are centered on xanga. A lot of designers design in center alignment. (And y'know, if it doesn't work put <div align="left"> in there and it clears up usually.)

It works fine in mozilla... I MADE it in mozilla, then made sure it worked in IE as well... so I don't get why you're having problems, unless your interenet connection is slow and can't process the video quick enough... ermm.gif

as for the center thing, I figure I just throw in a </center> tag from now on...

^ ah, but alas, Mozilla is different than Firefox - as Reili taught me recently.

It looks great IE - I like the video touch.

^ It is. Anyways, the scrollbar doesn't work. For the little side box with the content in it. I'll edit this with a screenshot later. Stupid school computers only have IE. I wonder how many viruses they get in a day...
