I think we can safely drop Food—there's very little activity in there as it is, much less than other forums we dropped.

Yeah, the Food forum is pretty pointless.. all it does is make me hungry. It's a great way to get your post count up though!

So, if we drop Food where would those topics go?

I do agree I dont really see the need for the Food forum any longer considering the amount of activity it has.

there was another thread about people wanting the health section back. perhaps we should re-instate the health forum due to popular demand.

--edit

health forum is back.

^^I liked the whole interactive deal =D
But what I don't like is the idea of merging the locker rooms. Like I can see having a general heading, The Lockers, and then having the guys and gals subforums, but personally I wouldn't feel too comfortable if there was a guy reading, "What should I use? Tampon or pad?" And "Omg...that was a freaking bloodbath and it stained my panties!" So I think that the locker rooms should just stay the same.

I thought that controversial would basically cover debate/current events, becase right now I'm trying my best not to overcroud the interests forum.

About the conversation forum, I think it should only have one post, and when it gets to page 20 or something have a new version. Just to like discuss things, anything - kinda like how people get to page 21 in that one game. Just show eachother hot pics of guys, talk about your latest crush, and blah blah blah. I know it might sound lame, but who knows? It MIGHT work!

//EDIT//

Okay, I just edited my forum organization. I took out the Sports in Entertainment and made it its own forum. And maybe we can have like different sports as subforums? For example, under Sports we can have baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, tennis, and misc. How about that?

And I took out the boys locker room.

sad.gif alas, one of my favorite forums to visit.
It doesn't get a lot of activity, but that doesn't mean it needs to be dropped.
I actually really like that forum.

But there's really no point in having a Boys' Locker Room--there are least as many girls who post in there, if not more, than guys.

i think keeping those two the way they are isnt a bad idea. (girl's/boy's locker) they are both very active forums as of now and merging them sounds like it would either be the same as now or perhaps a little less active, but not better. imo.

I know, I love that forum! It doesn't get a lot of traffic, but it's nice to read all the recipes and find out about different kinds of foods and such.

it isnt so much a question of the boys' locker room being active, its just who is making up that activity. currently, the majority, or near majority, are girls, so what is the point of having a seperate froum?

^ Well that doesn't seem to fair though. They need to either be merged or kept separate and one should not be trashed and the other kept.

Merging the Locker Rooms seems like such a beast of burden though.

Well yeah, that was just my compromise. Agh, I just want to keep the girls locker room. I have absolutely no problem with keeping up the guys too.

Seriously, merging the girls and boys locker rooms wouldn't be good.
Most of the members on CB are between the ages of 11-18.
They need a forum to go and ask questions and stuff.
Girls need their own space too, and I think it's only fair to let guys have their space as well.
Like I said, it'd be like combining the bathrooms at a mall.
You just don't do that.

It's more a problem with practicality. You can set aside a gender-specific forum in name only.

well totally... but as michael said, its in name only... there is nothing keeping iglrs and guys out of the alternate locker rooms, so why, practically speaking, is there a need for them?
