Teeeheeeee.

I have a secret obsession with Miyazaki. throb.gif And Joe Hisaishi.

<3333

I haven't watched Howl's Moving Castle though. I plan to buy it when I go back to Taiwan...

Yes!! Miyazaki and Hisaishi are geniuses. Howl's Moving Castle is a beautiful movie. So heartwarming and exciting at the same time. His movies are very deep and have a strange story line. I watched it over the summer. <33

Oh, but I have a question. I was at Borders Books Store the other day, and I saw a book (not a manga) called Howl's Moving Castle, and it showed the moving castle and the old woman, but it wasn't by Miyazaki. It was an English name -- of a woman. What's that all about?

^ probably a book for the movie - kind of like how Star Wars novels came out for the various episodes.... under a different author's name than George Lucas.

They have been playing alot of Miyazaki on Turner Classic Movies recently.
My favorite has always been, and will probably always be, Kiki's Delivery Service.

i love miyazaki's movies. i've watched most of his films, but i haven't watched Howl's Moving Castle yet. i saw the preview of it last year when it came out, it seems really interesting.

but out of all of them that i've watched, my favorite is still Spirited Away.

I liked the scenery on spirited away better but the story on Howl\\\'s was great! But rincess Mononoke is still my favorite film of Miyazaki.

^^ The scenery in Sprited Away was definitely something else.

Princess Mononoke was a bit heavier. I loved it, though. The forest spirit kind of scared me. Weird face...O__O
