I've been in trouble with the law many times, srsly!!!111 If your under 18 they usually go easy on you, unless you killed someone. 7 years for assault with a deadly weapon? I'm not going to say that the cops won't be biased but I advise you to speak calmly without any slang. From the things you say, I can tell that you're quite intelligent but the police won't really appreciate slang. If you speak in a calm tone, they're not going to jump all over you.
