Correct me if I'm wrong, but I searched and nothing came up. So what are your opinions? Do you think it's wrong for your boyfriend/girlfriend to say that other people are hot? (Non Celebrity likewise.)

My boyfriend doesn't call other people hot, and i don't call other guys hot either. sometimes i'll say "oh wow she's really pretty.." to see how he reacts and he'll say "not as beautiful as you." i guess i'd kinda feel uncomfortable/insecure if he commented other girls. he should be happy with me and not want anyone else!

Mine never did... only whenever he saw Cameron Diaz. But then he'd try to be smooth and throw in something like, "But she's no Melissa Ann." Eh. He usually knew better. But if he ever did, yeah, I'm sure it would bother me a little bit, but I've always been like that.

I just see them as eye candy. I wouldn't mind. But if my boyfriend kept talking about the same girl everytime, already keeping in mind his track record, then I'd be a little suspicious..

I used to be an insanely jealous person but I'm easing out of it. I personally don't care as much anymore. Sure we have a relationship but that doesn't mean that we're dead and can't admire other people. He has pictures of half naked chicks all over his apartment that he shares with his roommate. Sometimes, I admire them too, he has good taste
 However if he does more than admire some other girl, I'd be pissed. Looking is fine but touching? Oh hell no. Unless it's just a friendly hug and a kiss on the cheek with a friend. |

i think it's not too big a deal, just as long as you've been dating each other for a while. also, if he's just commenting and not focusing on someone for a particular amount of time. and, it's okay to joke around once in a while.
