the reason i wanted to make my own chatterbox is for the ad free. I hate ads. i think the one from xanga that is at the top is enough.

There are many tagboard scripts (example) you could try out. They'd require basic understanding of iFrames, encoding, and PHP usually.

I never get to use these .php stuff but I learned how to work with the html code. if I don't even have a chance to work with, how will i know if I will understand it or not. |

I wouldn't suggest making one on your own, but I do think that Alvin's [Meastro's] suggestion was a great one. Just use that one. I use HTML, but I'm clueless when it comes to PHP related stuff... so take the easy route.

The site should provide the code of the chatterbox you created... then all you do is copy and paste into your header.

for the tag board one, I can edit more than the shout box. and I have to memorize the log in code, which I thought it's just my username. compare with the choutbox and the flooble one, I think the flooble is better because they have users detect
