Background : A long time ago, Erus Aeronius was once a proud knight in the royal guard. He had a loving fiancè, Lenere Rosgard, and A loyal squire, Cephis Falco.
He was feared by his enemies, and loved by his country. However, One dark night, The Once Selfless knight flew into a rage, killing everybody in the castle. It was unknown why he had done it at that point.
But eventually it was learned that the King had betrayed his trust. Erus had entrusted the care of Lenere on her way to her home village to King Damastes. His squire had gone along as well, for added protection, since the lad was extremely skilled in the spear for his age.
When Cephis returned bloody and battered, he told Erus that the king had stopped the carriage halfway there and ordered Lenere to step out. He then proceeded to claim that she was a useless wench, and she only distracted his knights. And the unbelievable happened. The King's assasin stabbed Lenere from behind and left her there to die. Cephis fought his way out and rode to Erus as fast as he could.
Cephis then collapsed as a black shadow flew by. Aeros, Catching the movement, Pulled his rapier up just in time to deflect a shuriken. He made quick work of the assasin, and donned his armor. He discarded his rapier and grabbed his longsword.

The Screams Didn't end until dawn. Not one soul survived the massacre of Damaria Castle.
Erus then mounted and rode hard along the path until he saw Lenere's body, lying in a pool of blood by the side of the road. Tears streamed down his face as he picked her up, and remounted. She was so beautiful, even in death. A glint caught his eyes. He trotted over to a gian stone slab that had appeared out of nowhere. The runes read "Sorrow Neverending, Broken yet strong". He broke open the rock with his longsword, snapping it in the process. He pulled out a runeblade with the words "False Divinity" engraved into it's side, and has the very sword to this day. He also found a uniquely shaped polearm with "Fidelis" engraved into the handle.
He rode back to the castle, and buried her in their own secret little spot, a hidden clearing in the forest where a small stream ran through. Days later, Erus discovered a book of forbidden magic in the Royal Library. He read, intrigued. There was no spell for rebirth, only necromancy. He wouldn't forsake Lenere by reanimating her body, with no soul. He instead struck a deal with the shadows, a deal which only they know of to this day.

The Man once known as Erus was no more.

There was only the Demon of Elegy Castle, Glacialis.
The area surrounded the castle itself seems to be haunted, in tainted beauty. There are no wild animals anywhere, it's as if they can sense the great sorrow lingering over the land. The castle itself seems to be made out of ice which never melts. The halls are illuminated with an unnatural blue light coming from nowhere.



The region now lays forgotten, but the Demon still wanders around Elegy Castle Mourning his beloved.
