I really don't know where to post this, but LOL.
http://www.geocities.com/twist3do92/
(Rip off of my Alexis Bledel layout; http://www.createblog.com/layouts/preview.php?id=7988. &They also stole the menu that I have for my site right now. O.O).)

The funny thing is that the links they didn't use they still linked them to my site; yet they took off my credit.
Someday they will learn internet. laugh.gif
I wish I could contact them, :(.

You should totally write a e-mail to them just laughing. XD zipped.gif That's kinda mean... But it really is funny how everything links to your site tho. I'm easily amused. And it looks really shitty in Mozilla. Oh well.

Man, the color scheme is horrible. $40 for tickets to some "Laying Down Area", what a rip off.

It sucks that they have no contact information at all. Maybe they'll update it soon. *shrug*

John A. Rowland High School students? California? http://rhs.rowland.k12.ca.us/

Made by their business seminar students.. http://rhs.rowland.k12.ca.us/Departments/B...ex.html#Seminar

That's definitely the high school. So basically, contact the high school, preferrably someone in the business department. Those kids would get in a lot of trouble.

Yes - way to go - you have to tell us what the school says to you in reply! rofl1.gif At last, justice is served to both jockers and cheaters.

It's crazy that they did this for a SENIOR PROJECT. Probably a big part of their grade, right? But yes, let us know if you get a response. Looks like the site is still up. Next step could be contacting geocities.

Well the principal replied with 'I need to know the students who did this. Please don't randomly accuse without facts.'

I don't think he knows intarweb, :(. I replied back with 'senior business seminar students'. O.O

You know what’s really sad, is this comment. I know of a few jocker sites that get around 47-48 million hits a day. They also code programs where all they do is let it go, and go to sleep and it goes and replaces any links back, which I think is hilarious. I will have to get into my favorites and find the big one I use sometimes, its amazing how much they put into it. They even PAY there admins and "jockers" they get so much from ad sales...

I also like how you emailed there principal, which really I am sure did not do anything. Using a premade template is not cheating, its using resources available too you. I also LOVE how it would not stand anyway, you don’t even hold the right copyright information. And to all that use that Creative Commons license junk, its nothing but a big joke. Google for stories on it. Unless you hold a FULL COPYRIGHT, its out there for change, and to be used how they please.

I can guarantee you, the principal most likely looked over it, and ignored your email, but told you he/she would do something about it.

No he replied to me about three times, he didn't understand what I was trying to tell him.
I like how digital.fragrance put it, really he was.

So if someone 'took' something from you that you made one the internet, you wouldn't in the slight bit be upset?
Ofcourse I have no actual legal copyright, but according to this site( http://www.rightsforartists.com ) I can make all the huff about it I want.

Well if I make something, I copyright it too Black Hawk Data Services, so it would be, and is legally copyrighted and trademarked.

With sites like http://www.rightsforartists.com and stuff like that, its best to read the disclaimers, and what makes me laugh is that there first definition is "Bandwidth Theft", there is nothing illegal about hot linking. If you threaten to take legal action on someone for “Bandwidth Theft” I can guarantee you a lawyer would laugh in your face.

“At no time should the information be construed as legal advice; for all legal matters, we encourage our readers to seek the assistance of an attorney.”

You can huff, and puff, and try to take there site down. But if you send them threatening emails, that is harassment. If you try to “dos” there server that is considered vandalism.
