you and your gf/bf go to different schools and neither of you can drive.
their best friend is the opposite sex, and you trust both him and her. but when in a deep talk, you ask your gf/bf if they like their best friend. they've had a fling before, but it was long ago and they're strictly just friends now. or so you think. they both have good morals, and you know that you weren't cheated on or will be.

nevertheless, would you still feel threatened when they admit that they have liked their best friend on and off during your relationship.

No I wouldn't feel threatened, unless real signs that actually show they're not to be trusted like them getting a little too friendly...y'know

actually, i'd be more offended than threatened. if i'm someone's girlfriend, it's kind of a big slap in the face if they tell me they like their best friend while they're still dating me.

threatened? not really, i'd probably dump him. i can't be with someone who occasionally likes their best friend of the opposite sex. what's to stop him from being more than friends? since they're such "good friends" with their "morals" and all, what if they don't believe certain things equal to cheating? for example, them snuggling together, "but she's my best friend" oh hell no stubborn.gif

yes;

my bf is going through that now, my best friend [my ex] & me are always hanging out, [b/c me & my bf really dont have the time to] so somtimes i just hang out with him.. i tell my bf, and then he gets mad... hes threatened by the fact that its my ex.. but at the same time, he allows me to hang out with him...

me & my bf arent doing really good, and my ex [best friend] is the only one to help me feel better [as well as my other bestfriend - a girl]...

I agree with Chii. I want someone who's only committed to me. & I would dump him if he has feelings for someone else. I'm not gonna go & fight for him if that's what he expects. Jealousy equals way more drama.

they admit that they like each other and that really bothers me. what if my gf fall in love with her best friend and they spend allot of time with each other. what will happened to our relationship? Sooner or later l will be broken.

I would be offended and I would probably feel bad to hear that he liked his best friend WHILE we were still going out.

i wouldn't feel "threatened" persay, more so insecure and sketchy. i'll be the first to admit that i'm a very jealous person when i'm in a relationship and i would keep a close watch on my boyfriend if he's had relations with his best friend in the past.

No, it was one point in time it doesn't really mean now. I suppose I wouldn't be threatened at all because I wouldn't see the point.

It really depends on how much I trust the person.
If I know they're morals are right I'll still have a bit
of uneasyness resting somewhere inside but not
enough so I'll feel so threatened and forbid
the two to see each other or break up.

Kind of immature if you ask me?
