Jack + Kate

I love Sawyer and all but...I just like those 2 better. That made no sense.

I LOVE THAT POKEMON DUDE.

Well - here are some spoilers

Episode 2.16: The Whole Truth (Sun/Jin-Centric)
Airdate: March 22, 2006

03/07 - Daniel Dae Kim [reveals]: "I can tell you on March 22 there's a flashback episode that involves Jin and Sun, and you're gonna find out a lot more about how they got together and the troubles they had before they got to the island." Source: Kristin on E!Online
03/03 - Sun wrestles with the thought of telling Jin a newfound secret that threatens to upset the entire balance of the survivors' community. Meanwhile, Locke enlists Ana Lucia to interrogate the prisoner in order to extract more information than he, Jack or Sayid could. Source: ABC
02/16 - Recurring characters Bernard, Rose, and Henry Gale will appear. Two guest starring characters will be Jae Lee played by Tony Lee and Dr. Je-Guy Kim played by Greg Joung Paik. Source: insiderscoop at the Lost ABC Forums
01/16 - [Yunjin Kim] said she's due in Hawaii immediately after the Globes to shoot her and TV husband Daniel Dae Kim's (Jin) next flashback episode - a romantic love triangle set to air in February. Source: USA Today

Draw conclusions. =)

Oh and I read this as well:

03/07 - The word on the street is that [Locke] will be on crutches for the remainder of the season. Source: Kristin on E!Online
02/27 - Things will get more complicated [between Claire and Charlie], from what I hear. Michael will soon reappear. Source: Kristin on E!Online

Interesting...

i read somewhere that they cut sharon out for some reason.. i can't recall it right now, however.

As for me, the entire show's just addictive. My favorite guy would have to be either Eko or Locke (both seem to be trackers, concidentally)

Yeah, Shannon's death was sad, but that's typical JJ Abrams. He likes to torture his audience. laugh.gif

Eko is my favorite, even more so than Locke. I think Locke can be a selfish bastard at times.

Locke is too suspicious too. He acts so..weird sometimes.

Eko can whip you into shape with his Jesus Stick thing. I still don't understand that thing.

Eko can whip Chuck Norris' butt anytime.

^ I love the holy man stick though. It's like Moses' staff or something. Maybe he'll part the red jungle.

And yeah - remember Locke's black eyes during Claire's dream in the first season? What was up with that?

I think Locke is like..attached to the island or something.

Or maybe he's just mental.

Ha ha, i'm pathetic. I just noticed I'm over 4000 posts.

its because the island made him walk. if you remember back in season 1, he was in a wheelchair. and then after the crash, he looked around, saw he could move his toe and then realized his legs werent paralyzed anymore. i think that locke thinks that if he leaves, the island is going to take back his ability to walk.

gah, lost is signed up for 7 seasons. i cant wait for the episode when theyre saved. (or maybe theyll all end up dying..) and i wanna see aaron grow up. not stay as a baby.

He was able to walk after they landed, but he started to lose feelings in his legs when he spotted that airplane (right before Boone fell in that plane)... that's why he had Boone do the climbing, because of his "charlie horse."

I don't know... I think Locke will eventually (or already is) a catalyst of doom. I thought that because if the island wants you (in that case, Boone), it'll maybe use something to get that kill or whatever. So it used Locke (re-paralyzing him) so that Boone would have to fall to his death. It used Walt's image (spirit?) to lure Shannon into her death.

Oh oh and I just thought of something... something along the lines of good/evil, satan/God, Cain/Abel, etc. I don't know if it's because of my major jones for Eko or not, but he and Locke are so alike, but could be the mirror or shadow of each other - Eko being of the good and Locke being of the bad (and it's commonly stated in theology that Satan (bad, whatever) usually manifests itself as something good, helpful or appealing. Locke was the "savior" when they first landed. Charlie even said something to Jack like, "no offense man, but if I put my life on someone getting us out of this island... it would be John Locke" (paraquoting). Perhaps this couldn't be further from the truth though. Maybe Locke is there to *keep* them there.

I'm totally convinced we should watch this show in english and then analyze it with all the themes and symbology in it.

You would ace it of course.

I remember what you're talking about, and yeah, total sense.

I would totally show it if I was teaching English or Philosophy. Lots of symbolic and metaphoric goodies to toil over and analyze. It could even apply a little to psychology with all the Pavlov type experiements that Darma has cooked up for the little islanders.

^ You're not the only one. I've watched the show religiously since its debut, rewatched episodes, discussed episodes and I'm still scratching my head. I do need to watch Maternity Leave again though, I was a little distracted and I think I missed a lot.
