Maybe we should just drop this... Libertie is right - it still needs to be a respected position, and it won't if Graphics are too easy to submit.

hi all,
this is an awesome idea! instead of the individual quotas for different graphics, im leaning towards a collective number of 50 or so graphics... to become an official designer. and highering the layout submissions to 10 layouts (20 myspace layouts). how does this sound to everyone? |

^10 for layouts, and 50 for graphics.. and..
Is there going to be a member title difference, or are they going to be both "official designer" 50 and 10 sounds good - the layout needed to be raised. 50 collectively is a great idea, and would be easier for mods to check to see if the member filled the quota. |

Can I add that avatars&photos should count as 1/2?
 (If a myspace layout counts as 1/2, surely avatars and photos can. They don't take a insane amount of effort.)

People post 50 icons at a time at Livejournal, you hoard them until you have enough. Few of the ones accepted would take more than four or five minutes a piece. (you're spending a tad too much time if they do.) Just like a Myspace layout. &photos. You can take 50 at one photo shoot.

I agree with Reili - at least the photos should be counted as half and I'm split on the avatars - 50 is a lot, and some avatars can be a little involved. Hmmm.... I don't know.

ok how about atleast 50, pending approval by an admin?
so when someone with a lot of graphic submission applies, an admin will check his / her submissions, and based on what is submitted, and how much effort was put into it, they get accepted? id like to update the official designer stuff by tomorrow. so me know! |
