They both look great
 But the orange isn't working for me...... and I like the second better. Well they both are great  (and they aren't n00bish!!) |

I like both. x) I just think that the black border on the first is a bit too thick. For the second, it seems cluttered on the right and too empty on the left/middle.

On the orange one, why not make a layer on the very top, fill it with like blue or something and set it to color? Their faces might be a bit blue..but you can work that out.
Just a suggestion, but, still I like them both. The black border is alright to me. And I LOVE the simplicity of the 2nd one. Quite awesome. |

Aww, those are so adorable. I'm a big fan of the first one! Yeah, I don't know if orange was the best color to use, but maybe if you make it into a grayscale image, it would be better. I dunno :)

those look great! i love the pictures you chose. the orange in the first one is kind of too much for me, but it looks wonderful otherwise.
