The vision has been blurred, completely out of focus
As she's walking down the narrow path, it only get's lonlier
Deeper, she'd kill to hear a wreck in the bushes
Ever so silent, and not one breathing thing she sees
Her eyes are fogged with tears, will she ever find him?

And she quietly begins to sing, the lifeless weeds around her
Begin to spring, her soothing rhymes of gentle breezes
Wipe away the fears and brighten her flawless skin
She'd forgotten this whole time, her passion other than him
Now she's skipping, almost running, she has to get to him

The sun's not shining, but who needs those stunning rays?
She found the light deep within her, coming out through her
Her long hair has turned darker, it blends perfectly
With her warm lips curved into a teasing frown
Her eyes reflect the failing search, the hope's vanished again

Did she really think some silly song would fix all of her problems?
Or if she danced a little gracefully? This is the sad ending that it's come to
So she finds him later on, lying motionless on the dried autumn leaves
The sun is out above him, almost giving him some effect
She's fallen to his white hands, pressing them against her cheeks

And warm becomes a cold cruel chill, she tries not flood her eyes again
For if she does this time,her tears might freeze in movement
She slowly picks herself back up and runs away from the spot
Her dearest love with no breath, staring almost blamingly at her
She's sorry she was late, leaves crunching beneath her feet

Helpless groans finally free from her dry throat, and she stumbles on
The wind had taken all her wails, it's even useless to scream
In those woods she'll never get out, she just doesn't know when it's time to let go
Looking for an exit from this broken place, where can she go now?
She falls once more, but does not bother to get up, frost on her cheeks..she's done now
