well this tones it =\ i don't know i do it haha my legs are stumpy to being with. well not stumpy but like thick. and i dont think it's cause of this...

stand on a step on your stairs then put your toes on the step while your heel is hanging in mid-air. then tip toe yourself up then bring yourself back down. this should work out your calves (don't think it would make it muscular or bulkier) do 3 sets of 10 reps daily =) so that's 30!!

o and run =) it helps!

i think squats or lunges help.

squats- legs shoulder width apart, slowly bend down with your arms in front of you. lean slightly forward so there isn't as much pressure on your knees. go back up, repeat. something like that

lunges- lean forward. have one knee go up in a kneeling position, and the other knee goes down and almost but doesn't touch the floor. get back up, do the other leg, repeat.

I want to know a specific workout for slimming thighs... that's my problem ermm.gif

I think it depends on your calves. Are they already really stong and you want them to get smaller or are you saying that they are flabby and you want them toned? If you want them toned try running, or look up calf exercises on google.

Aerobics and step classes with stairs do NOT help. They make your muscles bigger, and make you beefier. Figure skating will also make your leg muscles bigger.

So don't try THOSE.

Not entirely sure as to what you can do to slim 'em down besides stop eating, but that's a different story.

I want to make mine larger. I think they're too slim. I play a fair amount of sports that should at least give 'em more definition, but I think they're too 'ladylike,' for lack of a better word. I'd gladly trade what I've got for what you've got to offer.

eBay. Six o'clock pm. Sharp. Be there or be square. whistling.gif

Do ballet. It's probably the only reason why my legs aren't huge.

Orrrr yeah, go running! =]

I'm sorry sweet pea but you are mistaken. aerobics burns fat. Doesnt build a lot of musicle. Aerobics actually helps you gain lean muscule mass as well. ahem.

Okay, to reduce bulk, you want to create long lean muscile lines. Lean musicle burns more fat and makes you look more slender. Get the term lean. One of the greatest ways to develop lean muscle mass is to do a lot of stretching. Everyday just reach and bend a move for about 20 minutes. Never push yourself beyond your limits, but stretching enlongates and strengthens. It will also increase flexibility and blood flow. Take it from me, I'm a fitness freak, I'm obsessed with myimage because I want tobe a singer, so I spend a lot of time learning ways to get and stay trim. Stretching is also great to do first thing in the morning and in the evening after a long day. Its very relaxing and if you do it right you will even break a sweat. Don't do spot workouts like calf lifts and things because you are just going to build bulk. Also, try some yoga or pilates. I don't do them personally because I'm not that flexible yet, but its all based on developing lean muscle mass. Also you can look on line for yoga or stretching techniques. Theres a site call webguru.com that has a lot of resources for different exercise techniques. Oh and running builds bigger muscles too, so if you are trying to tone them down, doing a lot of running isnt a good idea. Or be sure you spend a lot of time stretching before and after you run. And I mean a lot. Yeah thats all.
