when u knit a scarf, how do u make those little frills at the end of a scarf? instead of the scarf being 1 big rectangle, i want to make it a scarf thats a big rectangle but with the dangling threads at the end ![]() thanks ps: i googled like crazy, i get no answers |

They're called tassles. Google that. Hmm...I'm sure it's pretty much as simple as tying some strands of yarn on the ends of your scarf.

yeah^
just stick some stands through the ends (folding the strands in half usually looks the neatest) then tie them. |

with needle or something (not sure wat it was) weave in pieces of yarn half way through then tie them in the middle so it stays... make sure this is done AFTER you finished the rectangle thing.

umm... cut strands of yarn about the same size (unless you want them uneven i guess...) and one at a time, 'bend' the yarn in two and tuck the bent end into a loop at the end of the scarf. pull the loose ends through the bend, and pull. so...
| | | | | | |_| <-- yarn. ^ this end goes through the loop at the end of the scarf. pull the other end through... lol i hope it helps |
