What" effect" are you talking about? Might be best to ask the creator. What it looks like they did was create a texture or something and cut out parts of it to let the pictures show thru. Something to that effect. A few of the layers look like they've been desaturated... The two black and white ones. The other three look like a smart blur has been applied to them...

It's not pain daubs. I've tried that and it doesn't work.
Here are some more samples. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I love how you didn't read all of what I said.
QUOTE A few of the layers look like they've been desaturated... The two black and white ones. The other three look like a smart blur has been applied to them... Did you try that? 'cause It's looks almost exactly like what you've posted. Especially on this one.

The again, Posterize (low level. 4-ish.) mixed with Smart blue looks like that too. &the effect... Oh what's the name of it? Cutout. Is that even a PS filter? I wonder...

Filters -> Adjustments -> Posterize -> Set to 4-ish. Depending how "daub-y" you want it too look. Lower for more and higher for less.
Filters -> Adjustments -> Smart Blur -> Play around with the settings. I like to just pull all the sliders all the way over. =X |

I don't use photoshop. That's why I was wondering if Cutout was a PS filter. I know you have both of those filters tho. So just look through the menus for them. There's only so many places they could be.
I do believe it's Image -> Adjustments -> Posterize in PS. &it's Filter -> Blur -> Smart Blue. |

some of them look like Edge Preserving Smooth or Median Filter.
those are for psp, but try a noise removing filter at a high level. |
