I have a few questions that I think would be good for future reference: (::slaps face -oh no - Rachael has more questions! wacko.gif ::)

1. Is there a maximum file size or pixel size for graphics submitions?
2. Are animated submitions allowed?
3. Do the graphics queue function the same as layouts -

*Are off. designer's automatically accepted?.. and on that note, should there be an "Official Graphic Designer" member title?
*What kind of quality are the submitions accepted upon? (IMO, I've seen a few questionsable ones...)

Thanks... and sorry for pestering... I realy don't mean it.

1. there isnt a limit in terms of size of dimensions, but the server timeouts in 10 seconds, meaning the image has to be uploaded before then. this should be no problem for broadband users, but dialup users may encounter errors if the image is too big.
2. animations will be supported in the future. currently transparancies are being parsed incorrectly as well. =X
3. yes, graphics need to be approved before appearing. because how cb3 is coded, there isnt an 'automatically accepted mode'. but staff members do take into account your status when approving/disapproving submissions. =)

Thanks very much Jusun - but will there ever be an official graphic designer ... or something like that? Not like I want to be one, but some poeple really contribute to that section now. The requirements could be something broad based - like 10 avatars, 1 background, 5 banners, 2 photos, and 5 wallpapers. That way the person who fulfills the requirements has talent in all aspects of design. The requirements could be steeper - considering it is fairly easy to submit graphics.

I think I'm going to start a new thread on this idea.

Yep - mod please close this - thanks!
