but then compare the controler with the BD drive.

it seems like the controller's not going to be bigger than the dualshock ones

Even if it isn't bigger than dualshock, it's shape doesn't seem like it lends itself well to easy gameplay. Come on, the directional buttons aren't even on straight!

Yeah, I saw this a month back. This definitely isn't made by Sony, probably a fan attempt to promote the controller.

It doesn't look compfortable for people who can't dislocate their thumbs. Look closely at the gif where his thumbs reach up. The shoulder buttons also seem way too close. Holding it at an angle doesn't sound so comfortable either. But I'm going to give it a try first.

It's rumored that the PS3 may not see a spring launch date, as expected earlier on.

This might actually be a good thing though. If they're delaying to make it better, more power to them. I'd love to see a redesigned controller especially.

PS3 comes stateside on Sept. 23.

PS3 will also not come with a hard drive. The hard drive will be an optional, just like the Xbox 360 Core system.

yeah i heard their delaying it to perfect the blu-ray
crap

ps2's still makin money. with kingdom hearts 2, final fantasy 12, Black and other stuff thats supposed to be comming i kinda figured they'd delay it. oh well, when those release, i wont mind waiting a little longer.

That's not the release price. That's what is costs to build one unit.

According to this article, the design of the PS3 controller has been officially changed (thank god!). Sony finally realized the whole "boomerang" idea was just wack!

i just watched my mtv news podcast earlier today that was released either yesterday or the day before and it said that Sony announced that the PS3 is due out in November this year..

Well, the PS3 WAS supposed to come to Japan this spring. Now it wont be out till later this year, probably fall/winter.

Alot of sources say, however, tha thte US launch will not be comprimised, and we'll still get it in November.

Who knows.
