The only time I have ever skipped school was second grade. I didn't want to go to class because I wanted to spend time with my aunt (who was leaving that day), so I hid in my closet until my mom left for work.

i skipped my humanities class in wednesday

however, i am 19, i pay for my own college tuition so my parents don't really care

but if my sister were to skip school then her ass would be toast cause at her school truancy fines are 100$ per skipped class

Does it count as ditching if you got your parent/guardian to call in for you to clear your absence? I went to L.A. with my half-sister who called in for me on Senior Ditch Day. cool.gif That was on Monday (Feb. 6th)

I did.. just last wednesday me & my friend skipped class & took a public bus down to causeway bay (hongkongers hot shopping area), drank coffee, had breakfast & shopped.

Ooh & in 5th grade, I hated Phys Ed swimming lessons so much, I just sat in the library for the whole period twice a week. tsktsk* no one ever found out cool.gif

I've cut classes, a lot more this year too (ahah senioritis). But a lot of times, it's because the teacher wasn't there.

i used to do that then i was like whatever and stopped collecting the cutting cards in the mail because when your parents find out they're going to be even more pissed that you were dishonest about it. i could have hid it but i chose not to, i don't like lying.

no, im too scared to. haha. usually, when the administrators find out you were absent for a certain class, they assume you skipped on purpose and call your parents, and then you get an in school suspention.

Same. I think attending your classes is much more entertaining than sitting in a stall in the bathroom for 45 minutes running the risk of being suspended and having your parents scold you for 15 bajillion hours. Actually .. in school suspension isn't that bad, but .. yeh. You get the point.

haha.
I skipped a few times.
I actually like school.
Not all the time.
Friday was actually Senior Cut Day.
I'm a freshman but I skipped on Friday with my friends anyway.
