wow just about everyone has something to say on this topic...here is where is stand.
I think that lindsey is getting caught up in the whole stardom thing, she needs to snap out of it and stop trying to be like brittany spears was. That is not somthing that you want to come accross to your fans. People are dieing for a pretty role modle and she had it all, but she lost everything when she turned all mean girlish and party animal like.

Even though i think it is really dumb that hilary duff and lindsey are fighting i must side with hil, cuz at least she is not all...you know. But anyway ya i used to love her until not too long ago and the whole bond thing is NOT helping...what was she thinking!

WOW lindsey used to be a pretty girl, healthy pink face, etc
now she is pale yellow, smokes parliament cigarettes, is anorexic, etc.

"I always want to be perceived as normal and wholesome, because it's relatable," the PR-savvy star tells the Los Angeles Times. "I hope people think I'm wholesome.
DOES SHE LOOK WHOLESOME TO YOU???

anorexia is suicide. ive read about people sticking up for her they are saying "why is being fat good" and "people praise fat people at least she could control herself" noone says fat is good. were just saying skinny is bad!!! and for the second one... obviously she couldnt control herself. look at this

blech. and the blonde hair doesnt looks so great on her. and her face is so skinny it makes her look dead. this is a totally BAD MESSAGE she is sending to her fans and now the ones who really look up to her are going to see this as a way to be cool.

Does this look like someone who needs to drop a few pounds? Didn't think so. But Lindsay Lohan believes that if she went arm to twiglike arm with some of her fellow streamlined starlets, she'd look like she was carrying extra baggage.

"... Compared to a lot of actresses my age, I'm actually overweight," the alarmingly slimmed-down teen queen tells Teen Vogue. "There are so many really, really thin girls out there."

i do think she's a talented performer...her music kind of sucks but it's also kind of catchy i'll admit. but i don't agree with her actions lately...i don't care what profession you're in...that's not a good way to live your life.

Oh, so this is how it should look like?

List of what an actress/singer should do:
- act
- sing
- stop eating
- throw up a bit

SUCCESS!

I do think that she was normal size (compared to Hilary Duff's size, before she got thin). I mean okay it's nice to be more fit, but wow she is REALLY skinny nowadays. Augh and I can't believe she's becoming more like Nicole. She's going to faint if she keeps going at this. I mean look at Nicole--she's got NO CHEST whatsoever! And no butt either lol.

If they're trying to appeal to guys, this is definitely not working because I hardly know any guys that think Lindsay's hot anymore... rolleyes.gif

I'm not saying Lindsay is a horrible person. I'm hoping that she'll come across this thread and perhaps change her ways. She should still remain fit, but at least gain back some of those curves.

Being a girl myself, I think it's nice to be thin--but ONLY to a certain limit. I mean, look at Kiera Knightly! I consider her thin, but she does have curves. :]

QUOTE(Shortiiex @ May 22 2005, 7:33 PM) *
she was pretty when she was chubby, there could be a good reason why she is so skinny, like gettting a role in a movie

SHE WAS NEVER CUBBY. Thats the problem right there. If I was here I'd want to be skinny too. And she was bulemic not anorexic. But anyway, I don't blame her for what shes going through. People may talk bad about her being skinny, but the key word there is skinny, and I'm sure shes sick of reading that people say she was pretty what she was chubby. I don't care how pretty I am, I don't want to be called chubby. And she got a lot of pressure on her to grow up and fit in with hollywood, so I sympathise with her. Besides, if I lost a lot of weight, I'd be happy too. And I say something about it. I hate that I can't fit into some stores clothes because my ass is too fat. It makes me sit in the fitting room and cry. I'd be ecstatic if I never had to go through that again. Especially since I'm a performer, and I get turned down for auditions because of my size. And I'm not even that big. And shes not saying "Oh be like me and throw up after you eat!!" shes just saying that shes found some self confidence because she shed her baby fat. Whether or not it was in a healthy or unhealthy way. She also said herself that she was disgusted by herself when she saw Saturday Night Live. She didn't see what America saw. So at least she aware and shes trying to be healthier now. Give her a break, at least she doesnt have 44 DDD breasts like Pam Anderson. That says to me you arent good enough, get your tits done and you can be rich and heppy like me!

I like L.L. --no disrespect, please. In my opinion, she's a overall good actress and all but I mean it does give hardcore fans the wrong message. But I mean, you gotta have a little common sense to not follow in her footsteps. But then again, stupid people do follow their role models.

She can do whatever she wants, it's her body.
People shouldn't be using other people as examples, they should be leading their own lives too.
I mean, it's okay to look at someone as a role model for their intellectual thoughts but to use someone as a role model for their looks? "Oh, I like Lindsay Lohan cause she's pretty. I wanna be just like her! Now she's skinny and since she's my role model, I wanna be skinny too!" Then the person themself needs some help.

^ I agree , but what regular 12 or 13 year old doesnt idolize Hilary Duff and the Olsen Twins , whether we dont want it to happen or not , people look up to other people. Whether its a frikkin celebrity or their grandmother.

I heard she`s under a 100 lbs!!

I think Famous People like her are bad influences though..

they make it seem like
"Ohh you HAVE to be skinny to famous and good lookin`"

When chubby people are beautiful too.
Everyone is beautiful in their own way.

I still love L.L though.

b00bs are saggy and ugly now.. I really hope L.L changes her ways because i know some of her fans and.... Shes NOT setting a good example for them AT ALL. stubborn.gif

Well here is the thing. I keep going back and forth. I'm not sure if she's got an eatind disorder or she's a coke whore.

Oh well, I will say this. If she does have an eating disorder I don't think its a bad thing she's flaunting it. I know, that sounds odd. But if she has an eating disorder then like many with that problem, they don't see anything wrong with it. Although I think a lot of the reason she goes on and on about her new body is because the media is making such a big deal about it. So to combat that she just talks about how happy she is, so they'll stop. Although I really don't care that much. She's a decent actress and a bad singer. I much rather see her boney ass all over the TV than Hilary Duff.

It's quite sad what happened to Lindsay Lohan. As the center of a LOT of attention she was pressured to be skinny. Now that she IS skinny... She is pressured to gaining a little bit of weight. What exactly is the media asking for?

I don't despise her, she just annoys me now.

I don't think she's anorexic, I read she was bulimic.

It's probs the troubles she's going through. She isn't sending a good message though.

The other week she was rushed to hospital because she cut herself.

She needs to be more self-aware.
