Definition

Some people get confused or don't really know the complete definition for "Anime" or "Otaku" is. So here are the definitions to help you out!

Anime: a style of animation originating in Japan. It is sometimes referred to by the portmanteau Japanimation. Anime is characterized by stark, colorful graphics and stylized, colorful images depicting vibrant characters in a variety of different settings and story-lines, aimed at a wide range of audiences. Anime may be broadcast on television, distributed on media such as DVDs or published as console and computer games. Anime is usually influenced by Japanese comics known as manga.


Otaku: a variety of geek (or an overly obsessed fanboy / fangirl) specializing in anime and manga.

Secondly, MARS the manga is the best love story ever. It was amazing. I love it.

Lastly, Ai Yori Aoshi is sweet and funny. I quite like it. TONS!

And Katie, I only wish they would have come out with a second season for FB, though. I love this series so much! I've watched it a million times, and I'm still not tired of it.

One anime that I watched and that I enjoyed from a recommendation was:

Ai yori Aoshi..

^ I didn't think it would be that good but after watching it I was proved that you can judge a book by its cover. ( in this case its name )
