i just started my own layout/music site....i know how to do everything with the music..but i have no clue with the layouts. pinch.gif .. i'm using adobe photoshop 5.5...how do i turn my images and stuff into html?...please help cry.gif

You can't turn images into HTML. o.0 They're images, they stay images. wink.gif

well if ur talking about uploading images?
just have a place to upload them.. (aka. photobucket)
and then use
CODE

theres other stuff you can do to them. but thats the basic.

look around for some tutorials on slicing your images. I usually use fireworks for web design, so I don't know exactly how you do it in photoshop.

They're talking about skinning a xanga using basic html knowledge, not uploading the images.

uhh ok.. i get the images stay as images party... but like i can change it to a link right? like with photobucket... but for photoshop the images are .psd i'm not sure alot of sites do that ... and i tried changing the sources to .gif .jpg and everything else i know but it doens't work..

^You're going to have to go back to photoshop. Open up your .psd file and then resave it with another file name and another file extension, like .png or .jpg or .gif. So instead of image.psd change it to image2.png
And if your image is too big, photobucket will resize it, so upload it to http://imageshack.us

when i saved the image it will only let me save as a .psd or .pdd i'm pretty sure it doesn't let me change it

File -> Save for Web, not File -> Save.

.... What did you save it as? o.0 If it's a .PSD, Save for Web should work. Hell, anything should work. You're getting ripped off if I can do it in Elements and it's not possible in Photoshop. Psh.
You do realize he file has to be open and up front, right?

its a .psd but when i tried to save for web its highlighted gray...and i have only 1 picuture so basically its in front

yay i did it i think.... i used adobe imageready to turn the .psd image by adobe photoshop to a .gif pinch.gif
