no, not another render! rolleyes.gif

actually, its been quite a while since ive posted one. now i can finally replace my wallpaper (its been set on 'desolate' forever)

i know its crappy... but w/e.

ok.. just to make things clear..

the animals are a bird in the sky, a deer (male) on the rocks/mountain, and 2 horses nuzzling each other by the water.

Without the animals, it looks 100% realistic. Good job!

You have to try to keep things in the correct scale/perspective. If the animals were all a little smaller, they'd fit in fine.

Also, lighting is very important. Use the Lighting Effects filter in Photoshop to make sure the light hits the animals from the right direction. (More of an issue with the horses than anything.) Shadows are also important!

As for the water, turn down the roughness/wave size to about 5-10 each. That'll smooth it out a lot.
