GASTONIA, N.C. -- Lora Davis isn't loving McDonald's.

She's filed a lawsuit in Gaston County, N.C., after claiming to have found blood smeared inside a bag of french fries. She's suing for at least $10,000.

Davis said she bought the meal at the drive-through window of a Gastonia McDonald's in November 2004 and ate it at her office desk. She said when she found the blood, she called the fast-food restaurant and spoke with an assistant manager who said the blood came from an employee who had suffered a cut.

A regional manager said the worker was fired.

County health officials reportedly took no action against the restaurant. Davis later went to her doctor to be tested for infectious diseases and was under the impression that McDonald's would pay for it. When she didn't hear from the company, she filed her lawsuit.

An attorney for Davis said attempts to reach an out-of-court settlement have been fruitless. McDonald's isn't commenting because the claim is pending.

McDonald's is sick, man. huh.gif Did the assistant manager KNOW there was blood in the fries before they got served? If he did, that's disgusting on so many levels.

It's pretty easy.
And, if you honestly can't tell the difference, which you should be able to, just smell it.

Yeah.

Plus, the manager admitted to it being blood. So, yeah.

But, this could happen anywhere. It isn't so much McDonalds, as it is minimum wage workers not giving two shits because they aren't payed to care.

EWW...how do you eat a whole thing of fries and not realize theres blood speared on it? maybe it was a little smear?

Are those skinny towns? Cause, I always just considered San Antonio scene city. But, I may be wrong.

San Antonio and Milwaukee were the fattest cities in the country the past few years.

But yes, San Antonio is a scene city. Not as scene as Austin, though.

lol, naw but McDonalds gets sued soo much nowadays.
I'm not really suprised. But gosh that is disgusting.
You think the employee could of stopped working and cleaned the cut or whatever....
