Angelic Wing Poem. Options

I just saw my friend post one of her poems so I decided
why not post one of mine? ^^; C&C Is welcome. <3

My Angelic Wings once casted their beauty for all the world to see.
They shimmered in the depths beyond,
Amoung the brightened sea;
Though now they are all withered and grey,
From much too many use;
They are much like the soul inside me,
That once was so used.
They were torn away, into the pits,
Of sorrow and of pain.
And now I am forever searching
For my wings to spread again.
