Cute... You could center it more, and I can see the brown stop and the background color does not look good at all...

Awww. Cute.
The background color looks fine to me. It almost looks a bit too symetrical to me though. The navigation and content start at nearly the exact same place and everything's square-ish. Maybe it's just me... Cute smilies. :) |

It should be centered, there is a lot of unnecessary image on the right that could be just background color.

I really like it, the mood is just adorable. I don't see anything wrong with the background, let me look at it in IE, though.
The only thing I'd have to protest is too many smilies. They're cute, yes, but VERY distracting!! |

Ah, ok now I can explain alittle, ok so just add a notice on your site that the layout best works with a 1024x768 resolution, on my computer, it has a higher resolution, so it is messed up, just add the notice and it'll all be good...
